| Title | Circuit 1 Properties of electric Circuits using only CCK(Inquiry Based) |
| Description | The students will use the simulation to learn the goals through an inquiry approach. This is the first of a series of three labs. Learning Goals: Students will be able to: Discuss basic electricity relationships & Build circuits from schematic drawings & Use an ammeter and voltmeter to take readings in circuits & Provide reasoning to explain the measurements and relationships in circuits. |

I used this activity for my 8th grade Honors Physical Science class. They were able to work independently with minimal prompting from me. It was a great learning activity. We had been discussing voltage, current, and resistance but this put the ability for them to "see" the relationships in their laps. We are a new school with a new lab that is not complete. We lack bateries, voltmeters or ammeters so this activity was of GREAT use to us!
