Title | Spring Simulation - Identifying Variables & Asking Questions |
Description | This simulation asks the students to identify different variables that affect the stretch of a spring (Hooke's Law) and the period of a bouncing spring. The objective of this lab is not necessarily to learn about springs. Rather, it is to have students work on their questioning skills and then experiment to answer those questions. |

I tried Jessica's mass/spring activity with my students, and it was great! For their end of year project, they are designing their own lab to model some real-life example. Her activity was a great intro to how to design their own testable questions & lab from scratch. Karen King
