Title | Reactions and Rates 1 Introduction to reactions (Inquiry Based) |
Description | This includes a series of demonstrations and an inquiry based lab. My students will have done an activity with Salts and Solubility. The learning goals are: Students will be able to: Describe reactions in terms of a simple molecular model; Describe reactions in terms of molecular models with illustrations; Differentiate between dissolving and reacting; Use the molecular model to explain why reactions are not instantaneous; Use the molecular model to explain why reactions have less than 100% yields. |

Hi. My name is Liliana GarcĂa. I am a Science Coordinator in Riviera Maya, Quintana Roo, Mexico. We are now applying new methodology in Mexico in upper highschool levels, using competencies. I find your lessons and simulators an extraordinary tool because students are developing competencies when using them. Thank you very much.
