Universal Gravitation Lab

Title | Universal Gravitation Lab |
Description | I wrote this lab for my first-year physics students to be done early in a unit on torque, universal gravity, and centripetal force. The investigation should not take more than 30 minutes, but the calculations in the conclusion questions should take at least that long. I present it as repeating Cavendish's investigation. |

I like how the experiment specifics are left up to the students to determine on their own.

Thank you for this helping hand. I enjoy the way you have permitted the students to explore the nature of attraction between objects, and of course the humor in which you approach the material!

Very nice lab simulation and inquiry based. However, as a teacher, it would have saved me a lot of time had an answer key been included.I also had a big problem with #12 not certain if I read it wrong or what.
