According to the author the data that the students found was very reasonable, so using this sim to study effusion can be effective.

Authors do not typically post answers on this site because it is accessible to anyone including students. If you need help, try emailing the author. As I look at this lesson, I can imagine that the students will have variations in data, but by using a high number of cases as recommended in the directions, the velocities of the helium and nitrogen particles do match real world calculated values. The sim is designed using published kinematic values.
