I like the way you use prediction and verification. I think the tables provided will help students organize their thoughts without restricting their exploration too much

I'm using this one with modifications and I like it. It covers a few different things, the students need to think and write, and I dovetail it into previous stuff. For example, teaching mole<-->liter conversions I query the students about how far apart the molecules are in a gas (far apart). In the Phase Diagram discussion, I'll try to get them to think that if molecules in a gas are far apart but in a liquid close together, what will happen if you force the gas molecules close together (turns into a liquid)
