Needing to ask a question about this activity. In step 3 it tells you to add 5 blue gated channels and then in step 9 it tells you to open "both" types of channels. What is the other type of channel? A green gated channel and is it 5 of them? I just want to be sure I get the activity right for my Biology I class.
Love the idea! I think it is a great visual for my students, especially the hands on students and IEP students. Thank you!

I was also wondering about the blue vs green channels. I tried it both ways. I teach middle schools, so I am not going to use green channels next time, because it was much more challenging when they had both channels.
